I did it! I got crafty! :)

Hello again! This past week I have been trying harder to be a better wife and mom. So...we made bread!! I haven't made bread the whole time we have been living in this apartment, so it was long overdue.
Brandon insisted on helping me stir the bread dough. Such a helpful little boy. The funny part is that right after I took this picture and turned around the put away the camera-Brandon sure flipped the spoon and flicked wet dough and flour all over the kitchen!
And here is my little James. So bored watching us make bread. :) But hey, he had food- so he was happy.

AND!!! I FINALLY FINISHED A PROJECT ON MY NEW SEWING MACHINE!!!! You have no idea how happy this makes me! I made fabric letters for my little boys! I found this really cute idea on this blog. www.ohsohappytogether.blogspot.com/2009/07/rag-quilt-letters-tutorial.html She has the best ideas!

I finished them last night after Brandon went to sleep, so when he got up this morning-he was so happy!!

AH! Attack the letters! :) "MOM! This is a B!!!" (and yes, he really did tell me that right when I took the picture..)


So-there you have it. I did some thing domestic and crafty this week. ha ha.

I am almost making a quilt too. I will post some pics when it is finally done! : ) Thanks again mom-in-law for the machine!

PS I just noticed that both my kids are in their pjs in all the pics... hmmm...new goal...get dressed in the mornings!
